MID-VALLEY SWIM LEAGE
RESIDENCE AND ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATION 2014
MVSL bylaw Article III, Section 1 states in part,
“The territory of each member swim club shall be comprised of each
community’s school district boundary
and those adjacent (common boundary) school districts without established teams that are members of a summer swim league.”
We live in the following school district:
(If the district listed is not the home district of this swim team officials are responsible for verifying that the school district listed is an adjacent school district.)
(There is a variance procedure in the bylaws of this section to deal with unusual circumstances and it is the team’s responsibility to obtain variances prior to allowing swimmer to compete.)
MVSL Bylaw Article XI states that,
“Any swimmer who has been a
member of, practiced wit, or competed
with an organized swim team, other that MVSL, or who has been
swimming competitively unattached
, must wait ninety (90) days before practicing and actively participating in a MVSL team.
Swimmers found in violation of the 90 day ruling will be suspended for the season
, reserving the right to appeal.”
